About
Mitch & Carolyn Cohen started the Yale Street Arts Market under the assumption that Houston
was ready for a monthly outdoor art venue. They were right! Now: Carolyn has taken over their
decorative painting company that they operated together for 14 years, and Mitch is the
Media & Community Liaison at Karen Derr & Associates Realty.
Mitch has placed hundreds of artists in businesses for Heights 1st Saturday Events since 2003
and promotes member artists of Artists At Large. ArtValet.com a website designed by artists and updated weekly.
The focus is entertaining columns, an event listing by the artists, and a Rolodex of member artists.
