Art After Dark - Popular Jazz Trio Spotlights Art Festivals Switch to Night Hours Erin Wright and Danielle Reich of the The Danielle Reich Trio HOUSTON, May 29, 2008 - The Danielle Reich Trio will kickoff summer evening hours at the Yale Street Arts Market on June 7. The jazz trio, led by vocalist Reich, performs classics from Cole Porter, contemporary tunes by Bjork to originals by Reich. A regular in the Galleria area at The Black Swan in the Omni Hotel, the trio is also well known at The King Biscuit in The Heights where customers have stood on sidewalks to be a part of the new jazz sounds from jam sessions. The arts market, comparable to a mini art festival is a hot spot for collecting original paintings, photography, jewelry, wood and metal sculptures. Located on the parking lot of Wind Water Asian Antiques Gallery at 548 W. 19th St. near popular Heights restaurants and shops, many of which have longer hours now on first Saturdays. The first Saturday arts market is a participant in the popular White Linen Night in the Heights event set for Saturday August 2 this year.
