Art League Houston's Healing ARTS

Veronica Jackson had a stroke at 12 and now does everything w/ one
arm. Her work is very folk art and is already being collected!
Isabell Torres, studied art in college in CA but has been disabled w/
diabetes and plagued w/ other health issues from it, her work is more
stylized using allegories and symbols of her heritage.
Pete Bartholow is 81, loving his newest hobby painting almost realistic w/ a
soft twist. Also a mean bridge player.
Phil Herman ended up having a leg amputated after a staph infection after a
heart attack! He does dreamy landscapes w/ vivid color.
Jacqui Wolfe is an artist prolific in all fields, stillife, sailing
landscapes, decorative all w/ the feel of warmth.
